From what I learned going down this rabbit hole. The TV show is about all of the experiments being accidentally release all over Hawaii and Lilo and Stitch make a quest about finding the "one true place" for each of them to best contribute to the world. Which is kind of cute when the experiment that makes electrical surges finds their own true place powering an abandoned lighthouse or some knifey experiment working as a sushi chef, but a lot less cute when one experiment's one true place is as "Nani's alarm clock" or 629's one true place is in prison.
