Bad vig shots d1 are a town use of the ability. Not pro-town, but indicative of a town mindset. Scum would save it for an actual threat or to bump up LYLO a day, or for town cred... Bif did none of those things.

Me defending her is an outlier in town reactions, and one she likely wouldn't count on. So it was largely a waste of an ability. Scum wouldn't do that, unless it was exceptionally funny, or revenge motivated. Scum Bif with a vig would be way more likely to try and get one of the tangential benefits of vigging someone rather than an early hipshot.

ive gotta admit im kind of annoyed that bif specifically chose to shoot yami, since yami doesnt exactly sign up for every single game and i like playing with him. i do appreciate the forcible thrusting of the game out of jokephase, but it was at the expense of someone who was literally asking for jokephase to be over *so he could play*

we could literally wifom about it forever. in my opinion there are far more detriments to bif's play as scum than town, but who's to say how many of these bif was taking into consideration before shooting. pros -extra town kill -people might wifom that you are town cons -jokephase obliterated -instant kneejerk suspicion -force scumbuds to take a stance on you -lost vig for use in better circumstances situational -odd number of day players = fewer votes required to execute

far more valuable than pursuing bif today, is being able to talk about something concrete like bif's vig shot. and dig into people's reactions to it. in that sense, bif really helped town get some momentum to start scumhunting

So much for trying to post as a concert venue marque until the game really started moving. I'm with whoever said that a day 1 vig is basically null to me. I'm also slightly busier than I thought I would be today so might not be posting much until later on.
