more tips: 1. have a vague idea how many words your story is gonna be when you start, you don't need to get to the max word count if you don't want to 2. don't introduce new characters after the first third, or new plot elements after the second third 3. good verbs are better than good nouns are better than good adjectives are better than good adverbs 4. a lot of good stories are about someone we care about who wants something they can't have 5.ignore any and all of this if you choose to
