I think a lot of teens would feel a lot better about themselves in that regard if they just ever thought to take a good long look at their own parents and ask themselves how they ended up being together in the first place if that idea was true, but at that age, you just don't have that kind of self-awareness.

Even his supporters tried to claim that as an academic he was bamboozled by a sourced, cited article like academia brain makes you incapable of making objective judges on the quality of an argument because it cites sources. This is just kind of more evidence of the brain rot that anything comprehensively explained is fundamentally okay from a facts are facts standpoint.

You'd be surprised, Eliot Rodgers literally expected women to throw themselves at him because he was well-off. Anger and desperation are pretty easy to detect, especially from people with basically no social skills. I'm pretty sure a common theme with incels is boys being raised with basically zero real social education or guidance, usually in isolated suburbs where they have no social opportunities outside school or the internet, who basically get stuck in the mindset of a desperate, insecure teenager who's convinced everyone around them is having sex except for them and has absolutely no concept of how to live up to the expectations placed on them except what they can supposedly glean through pop culture (ie, romcoms and pornography) and falls into toxic online communities that are the only ones offering them any supposed support and answers to their questions.
