This is reading a lot into very little, but the Akiha shown so far isn't Akiha or V. Akiha, it's Seifuku Akiha. And it's not even the top tier C-Moon Seifuku, it's F-Moon apparently. She's doing one of her onion ring circles in this picture:

Ordered an 8bitDo arcade stick, super looking forward to finally playing fighting games like a boss. Guilty gear strive here we goooooo  any advice for a first-time arcade stick player? I used to always play fighting games with a joypad so playing with an arcade stick at home as my main fighting game apparatus will be new to me. Guilty gear strive here we goooooo Play a bunch, don't worry about being bad at first and try not to lean on the gate too much when doing motions, else you might become an octogate enjoyer  Doesn't even have to be fighting games, I've recently played Spelunky, Celeste and One Step From Eden on a fight stick. Most stuff with 8-way movement and no extra aiming works great and will help build muscle memory

Oh and one more question, do Sanwa buttons really make that much of a difference? I bought the 8bitdo arcade stick, I figure since the stick got good review and stuff that it should be good enough but people online are talking about how sanwa buttons are the best and should be modded into whatever stick you buy, is that true?

They're made really well, but really if a different kind of button feels better, use it. I know some people like the Hayabusa buttons, some people want the like dipped inward fingers buttons and so on.

Sanwa buttons are nice and will stay nice even after thousand hours of use but they're still buttons. It's definitely worth the swap but you don't have to worry about it right away. Same thing with the lever except that has a more drastic improvement over no name parts, I think. Edit: yeah, Seimitsu and Hayabusa parts are good too, although I've heard the latter doesn't quite have the same durability.
