If anything, you might as well Send Feedback to Youtube (via the three dots at the top right of the live chat box), relate the issue and suggest the change. Tatsunokos do that whenever we see a streamer getting spammed (be it someone collabing with Coco or not, like when Aqua was getting hit some time ago). Don't hold your breath for any solution, but at least it's another voice asking Youtube to get to work on fixing that glaring flaw in their platform's design.

Even youtubers with exclusivity contracts and direct lines of communication with YouTube staff have found it near impossible to fight off spam bots; they even get through members-only chat. YouTube Live/Gaming has the biggest, fattest "beta" tag next to it because of this moderation clown show.
