I guess they decided rotational symmetry looked nicer than reflective when deciding which way to bisect the diagonals.

In Fallout 1 pretty much everyone with a known origin came out of a vault or a military bunker. The Vaults being experiments isn't in any way contradicted in Fallout 1 but isn't really a Thing in the story, they're all just portrayed as kinda badly built. Fallout 2 though, if you core away from THAT thinking capitalism = good then point_shooting_over_head_cool_power_armour.gif

If I delete all my accounts tweets and change the handle and remove all my followers. Can I start using it "freshly" then or will I get doxed by fascists 2 years later for posts I made in 2018?

It's ambiguous because all of the games are set long after the regular Vaults opened back up (except 76 but gently caress 76), so the only ones left are the disasters or otherwise weird. It is mentioned a few times that the vaults did help with recovery, but they wouldn't have been needed if the US wasn't a violent dick who was hording technology, invading former allies and pumping them for resources, and sabotaging other countries' attempts to support themselves. And yeah, humanity survived everywhere.

I mean yeah, global fallout, but the other countries probably have a way better QOL when their infrastructure didnt get vaporized. also my only 0.02$ on boneless / wyngz is that there's a decent % of restaurants where boneless is cheaper than bone. Also if you have a freezer and a pot, and you still get boneless for home, youre a bad person, stockpile that poo poo and make broth. or be terrible and order a ton of wings for one setting and make broth same day / tomorrow.

On top of that, unless I'm screwing up my memories of the original lore, the big background joke is that humanity had cracked the concept of fusion power, and that a more global/less capitalist dick-swinging mindset and a little belt-tightening for a few years would have let everybody live in a Star Trek utopia once fusion power scaled up to overcome the resource crunch.
