I would bet a bajillion dollars that Jimmy Butler hates Tyler Tuesday’s at Chipotle

Edit: Jimmy Butler holding a box of Herr-o’s looking at it and scowling because he thinks Tyler hasn’t earned his name on a box of cereal because he’s young and hasn’t worked at it

No one talks enough about the work Jimmy Butler is doing making coffee and only want's to talk about rookie contract guys with franchise fast food.

jimmy butler would never take notice of what’s going on at chipotle. that’s time away from the gym, where he could be, working hard

he can never make it there when it's open because, as a Hard Worker, he gets up at 12:01am every day. if he worked any harder he would horseshoe theory around to being a slacker that gets up in the afternoon.

He would find out by sending rookies and asking for an oral report while he works out.

With his breakfast cereal, and his Tyler Tuesdays, and his Chipotle Bowl and that’s all well and good. But you know what? Other players when they see a player doing that before they’ve truly reached it. I don’t want to say there’s a jealousy. … They sort of take a scant view of the guy and say, ‘Wait a minute buddy. You haven’t done anything yet.'”"

While I 100% believe this is true for 99% of the layman population, I wonder how he'd stack up to the average undrafted and unsigned D1 starter, particularly in situations where he'd have to carry a team or play 1 on 1. I have no doubt that Scal was a superior role player to almost all of those guys in the NBA though.

I remember someone saying around the time that Paul Shirley wrote his book, that like, yes guys like him aren't good by NBA standards, but that people need to realize that "Good enough for the fringes of the NBA and to play in Europe" is better than 99% of the people who play basketball on the planet. And Scalabrine is definitely better than Shirley.

Yeah Shirley was not even as especially good college player but even a crummy college player is going to destroy most people. I mean for one thing he's like 6'9" which is freakishly big by normal human standards.

Scal was first team all Pac-12 and the best player on a really good team, he'd honestly probably get more respect as a player if he'd flamed out of the NBA early and was remembered more for that than as a goofy looking end of the bench NBA guy, which is of course very dumb given how hard it is to make a NBA roster.

I think there were a few of us in the poll that chose Paul George as the most underrated/disrespected player in the NBA and if it pleases the court I would like to submit as evidence the latest episode of the Locked on Clipper podcast cause I know everyone listens to basketball podcasts for teams they hate.
