I released a new track (more of a demo with decent production) for my "main" project Indigo Monsoon. https://indigomonsoon.bandcamp.com/track/an-unproductive-vent It's a long instrumental that is all about impotent anger and sadness. Funnily enough out of the three projects I do Indigo Monsoon doesn't get the most love, usually because I'm too worried about quality so nothing ever gets released. Anyway, I hope someone enjoys it

In like 2003, maybe, I bought a CD of sort of chiptune electronic music off a goon. The album name was "Friend Alligator: 16 Color Adventure", the artist was "Justin Fogle", and it came on some mini weird shaped CD that hosed up half the drives I put it in. Is Justin still around here, and if so, is he still making music? Google seems to turn up basically nothing, which is a bummer. I still listen to the songs every so often.

I'm writing stuff for my next album now and doing more lo-fi living room demos. This one is about admiring someone who takes big risks (in this case going along with a potential alien abduction like "heh why not"). Well, I finally did it; I took a bunch of demos and unreleased tracks over the past 12-13 years and put them all together. Out now, and for free (well, technically Name Your Price, but 0$ is totally cool and fine with me they're demos, scraps, sketches...) is... Ironic Jargon by Robot Cousin It includes tracks from when I wanted to make Pumpkins music, tracks that were meant to be a follow up to my 8bit inspired album 'Nothing Fancy' (also on Bandcamp), a few RPM Challenge tracks, a Zelda 2 cover jam, and my first ever SA Game Dev Challenge track, from way back in 2009. Releasing this is kind of cathartic, since they've been in the back of my mind for over a decade. I constantly think "I'll finish them someday". Well, gently caress that! I make synthpunk/post-punk/new wave under the name Faustbot. My first album, Synthetic Noise, was written and recorded largely after getting laid off last year and is the more synth heavy of the two. Hunting Season is the favorite of my metal head friends, Masks Off the favorite of my punk friends, and Scratch a Liberal is the most popular all around, what with it's fun, tango feel. My second album, Technicolor Dreamboat comes out 7/9, with two songs available for preview now. Introduction was written to be just that, and is a great place to start; if you like that, chances are you'll like the rest. See Ya In Hell, Chief was originally called I'm Sick of Elon Musk's Stupid loving Face and has one of my favorite synth sounds on the album. This album is more guitar driven than the first, but still keeps the Faustbot sound intact.
