fell down a Friday Night Funkin' rabbit hole relatively recently(here's a playthrough of all 7 official weeks if curious) and there's a shitload of mods for it, many forgettable or just skins, but there's some really incredible complete overhaul ones that are arguably better than much of the base game itself. when that was brought up(someone accusing the lead dev of being a superchud), he had had a twitter thread apologizing for his terrible posting in years past when FNF was taking off. It wasn't a great apology, but if he's attempting to keep his nose clean and trying to learn something to better himself, that's cool, and people trying to get past their ignorance is a noble goal. but if he backslides, gently caress'im. I'm of the "give them a shot to get past their edgelord phase" mind lately. SA was real bad about it back in the day as well, and has improved dramatically. I dunno how old they are, though. Hopefully it's not a Dan Avidan thing and they're like 45 and only just making this change now. I've only heard the name shadman mentioned on SA a few times as some creepy artist and avoided it past that, but nobody provided evidence of him being involved, just saying "I heard" etc. It'd be cool if there was a rule that you had to actually provide the evidence when making accusations like that instead of "isn't [person] a nazi?" it may be true, and if so, that really sucks, but if it is true, please post the receipts instead of vague claims. it would also suck if this game that a kinda shocking amount of people enjoy was ruined because one of the creators might be horrible. Minecraft does an unimaginable amount of good for a lot of people in the world, and if it got erased because notch is a flaming pile of trash in human form, that'd be bad. Watching a playthrough of the big wabbajack skyrim SE modpack and for some ungodly reason there's a mod in it that adds a romance plot to serana, using voice actors(yes, multiple) that don't sound anything like her, and it's possibly the worst romance plot I've ever loving seen, just turning her into a loving stuttering schoolgirl really. and then this happens.  Also even though the modpack doesn't have any nude mods she somehow becomes nude.

I want a skyrim mod that introduces a .01% chance that dialogue bubble appears during any random combat after which the screen fades to black and when it returns the enemy combatant is no longer aggressive and wanders off smoking a cigarette. Though now that I think about it that seems a bit rapey. So maybe I don't want that mod.

Which I instead did by standing on a cube to get more a bit more height over the pit and flinging myself across normally

I couldn't be arsed with it after about chamber.. 17 ish? I can see what I have to do, I think, but it's difficult to experiment because of the "moving past portals affects the future ones" mechanic. You can carefully set something up and then one unthinking misclick means you have to tediously redo a bunch of stuff. [edit]It's also weirdly flaky at the moment. Laser beams don't hurt you until they do, there's no ability to manually reload a save as far as I can see (exacerbating the tedious puzzle-redo issues) , it auto-positions portals for you on occasions (snapping them to, presumably, where they're useful for the "correct" solution but again this frustrates experimentation), etc, etc) Two Owls fucked around with this message at 08:51 on Apr 26, 2021 |
