The cop interprets Junko as pining over a romance, we found that Ai's video was what Junko was embarrassed over being caught watching, Junko pointing the smashed guitar and Ai running up to her and then Junko getting possessive over Ai at the end.... it was all really romantically charged.

It's there for those who want to see it, and seeded well enough to be developed further along. The whole thing has less than 20 episodes so far, there's sooo much to set up, pay off and reveal! I may be alone in this, but for the moment I am more invested in their backstory, career and zombie-ness than romance plots. Though part of me loves that they chased Saki's hetero crush with double idol love.

Something I really like about the story so far is how Franchouchou is becoming more famous in Japan as the episodes progress, starting with the radio show, then being recognized as rivals by Iron Frill, and now Lily's performance going viral. I really hope that for the ending of Revenge, it ends with the girls either being ousted as zombies, or them revealing themselves as zombies, and Japan accepts them because they love the group so much. That way, they can all see their families again. These girls deserve a happy ending, not a sad one where the pass on
