The content of his promo was very weird but Cody's delivery of the promo was electric. He's got that skill down. Also, Reddit -HATED- the promo so I feel comfortable in my opinion that it was a well delivered but functionally strange thing Also Wild Thing rules and I hope Onita shows up down the road

If anyone is planning on getting dynamite tickets for Dallas early access presale was today. I got two tickets but didn't see how fast they were going. Seems like if you went to the last show the venue gave priority access which is neat.

The thing with Miro/Archer is that I don't see where Archer goes if he loses a title shot at DoN, which he likely will because it would be very hotshotty otherwise. They could put him in AEW title contention I suppose, but Omega's probably still going to try to collect more belts before he loses that, and then Archer would just be the guy who loses to champions.

This is true - Archer continues to just kinda be aimless and lose his most important matches. If he lost another one, his whole "everybody dies, I'm gonna murder everyone on the roster, everyone is afraid of me" stuff is not going to hold much water. Archer needs to destroy someone and regain his legitimacy as Miro-level invincible.

I think him and Brian Cage are both at risk of becoming guys like Kane or Big Show where they’re only positioned as a beast to overcome without ever really gaining their own dominance to justify it.

There's nothing weirder on earth than a "USA vs UK" promo where Cody has to spend half of it pointing out he's not actually mad at foreigners or people from other countries or anyone who gets a green card to work in AEW or... really just anyone but Anthony Ogogo. So by the end you're like "then why are you *being* like this Cody" Will confirm wild thing absolutely kills the zoomers, they died and that's when the ratings took a dive brother.

It's hard to have Miro be Miro and to also have Archer be Miro. There's a monster hierarchy and Archer is #2 on it. Maybe #3 after Cage. Better to just have the feud, have the awesome match and fine, Archer ate the pin again. Not everybody can have belt. Not everybody can win every match. The only shame of course is that yeah, Archer's either wrestling jobbers or the company's top guys and he isn't quite that. It would be nice if he could get a Goldilocks zone feud at some point. Maybe against Cage.
