Agreed on all the cool goofy stuff from C1. All the Grog-Taryon interactions in particular are great. e. Travis' "I can't do reverse math" moment  There are some things that I'm really glad they don't do (or do way less of) for C2 though - Eating on stream - All the audio issues from C1 - People skyping in and having trouble following along what's happening - Talking over each other It's fun to see the stream go from something jury-rigged to a slick professional production. its funny how many times people dont read their spells and try and do something and matts like uhh, read your spells. it happens to keylith the most with her grasping vine, and now she just tried to wind walk everyone and make them fly, turns out they cant attack or do anything in mist form while being attacked by 2 worms. Fits her innocent druid thing though!

That doesn't get much better as the campaign progresses. Even simpler stuff gets misunderstood constantly. See: Vax's assassinate feature. I'm not sure he ever remembers how and when it applies. after sam solo's that house during the briarwood arc i think hes the tactical genius of the group edit: though reading the spell, she wouldnt have even been able to cast wind walk anyways since its has a 1 minute cast time, so both matt and marisha missed that. edit: oh they noticed it finally is it just a thing with 5e rangers for their pet to be so useless? theyre like level 12/13 and trinket is sitting there with 60 hp and never being used queeb fucked around with this message at 18:16 on May 18, 2021 |

Beastmaster Rangers are notoriously bad because the PC has to give up their own actions for their pet to attack, the pet's HP does not scale with levels, and if they die, they're dead for good.

Sadly C1 ended before these changes were ever a thing.

I didn't watch it live, but I watched it as soon as the VOD dropped on YouTube with some friends and it was met with a lot of silence just trying to process with an occasional, "fuuuuuuck" Once it all sunk in though we got super hype for it and really pumped for the next episode.

I suspect the S2 finale could see the Mighty 9 saving Molly by using the power of Dreams to either pull him to the forefront or to split him off from Lucien. If the former happens, than Lucien discovers one person can actually be of multiple minds in the way the Somnovem were; if the latter, it will be the Mighty 9, Essek, and Molly vs Lucien and his dream-things... which means that the Mighty 9 will have a total of nine members! The big question is whether it's too late to help any of the other people who are part of the city now. But I'm guessing that if they beat Lucien, things will get unstable quickly and the city will collapse.
