Have his powers go haywire and have him basically be Colossus but he just wears a flesh tine covering so when they actually have to film him taking bullets and stuff, they just need to apply spots of metal texture in CGI or something instead of the full body.

I know they did an episode where Ray and Hawkgirl got stuck in the past, are they doing the same next week? Mick's got the ship, are they just going to chill in 1962 without Constantine and Astra? If so, I can see something happening with Nate and Zari. Although probably just closing it off as "not gonna happen" is what I think would happen.

Also Kennedy did not have a master class in diplomacy during the Cuban Missile Crisis, he had to keep getting talked out of just bombing Cuba because he was terrified of being seen as weak on communism.
