It feels very Count of Monte Cristo more than anything, but there's a load of his politics stuff in there too, the basic backdrop of the story is weirder than you remember.

I watched this and was pretty impressed by how bad it is, it's centered around a Big Brother-esque reality show streamed on the Internet where the contestants are every single millennial/gen-z stereotype written by a gen-x dude who thinks he's smarter than he really is. Basically "wow! I hate people who use instagram and youtube!" the show. The deaths aren't even fun! It's not even a house it's an underground bunker.

Wasn't the Unfriended sequel about that? There was also that Halloween movie where Busta Rhymes kicked Michael Myers' rear end while shouting "TRICK OR TREAT MOTHERFUCKER," but I'm not sure that's really what you're after.
