on hold to legal aid just repeating this to myself over and over like a mantra im permabanned poster caredresser. i first started reading ausgbs when i was about 12. by 14 i got really obsessed with the concept of “derro” and tried to channel it constantly, until my thought process got really bizarre and i would repeat things like “should i bang 16 yr olds” and “i love cruising the mental hospital” in my head for hours, and i would get really paranoid, start seeing things in the corners of my eyes etc, basically prodromal schizophrenia. im now on antipsychotics. i always wondered what the kind of “derro” style of ausgbs humor was all about; i think it’s the unconscious leaking in to the conscious, what jungian theory considered to be the cause of schizophrenic and schizotypal syptoms. i would advise all people who “get” ausgbs to be careful because that likely means you have a predisposition to a mental illness. peace.

The big increase was all from that aged care facility, and while that's worrying for it's own reasons it's accounted for already and contained. The real news is Scummo and Gladys wanting the VIC lockdown lifted ASAP and harping on about how NSW is able to isolate just a small part of Sydney when they had a lockdown, and no-goddamn-poo poo a much larger and wider-distributed state and city can lock down individual parts of itself, you loving idiots. When we did that here, the rich folk just made for their summer homes in Mornington and took COVID with them.

Our Christmas lockdown included summer home locations and it pissed people off. Our original lockdown last year came with the warning that it wasn't OK for people to escape to their holiday homes. Of course one of our politicians got caught doing exactly that. These days, even the possibility of a lockdown has people scrambling to get places before it comes into effect.

He spent the day of the actual exam cramming for it. We had another exam the next day (the day he thought he had two exams) but he has spent all of his time studying for the one that he missed.

At least these days when we lose power we have 1000 drill batteries, USB LEDs and power banks to keep rooms lit and things working. But mobile data instantly dies so you have to read a book and go to bed early anyway.
