Back in 1987, for example, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and the Iron Sheik were traveling a car together, and they got pulled over. Hacksaw was a face and Sheik was a heel and them being seen as "hanging out" IRL (they weren't actually friendly, which is what makes this story even goofier) was a gigantic breach of the pretty carefully-maintained wrestling fiction.
