I can't remember if it was an official Friendly's one or not, but I remember we got an ice cream watermelon roll that was frozen so hard it snapped a knife trying to cut it. And Jesus I remember those Viennetta things. Only ever had like two of them because they were expensive and hard to find according to my parents. It was good from what I vaguely remember. We're certainly a bunch of 90s kids in here alright.

There was a tik tok I saw, I don't remember where. EIther reddit or SA. It was like POV: the commercial you woke up to when you fell asleep on the couch. It was for that new age music collection, with like Enya playing. I think it was called Pure Moods? All we need is a full page ad for Columbia House cd's.

If I am traveling in the NE and I have a few days, I'll stop into one from time to time. They seem to still toast the buns for their hot dogs and the fries are pretty solid. Not stellar but better than their fading status would indicate.

Cursed video. The 90s was a musical badlands for me, everyone listened to "alternative." With the notable exception of a few songs it was and still is garbage, much the same way things that starts with "alternative" today are. I heard those songs so many times and they were never good. I am angry, angry about music starting in middle school and continuing to college.

I might be remembering incorrectly, but I think Patreon had to eliminate direct account debits because of it's sexually explicit material. They could still charge credit cards, but direct billing access to accounts was cut off. That might have included quasi-banking services like PayPal. I think Patreon moved their payment processing to another country, but they also got rid of the offending content because it was only a matter of time before they found themselves in that same situation again. But even back then Patreon got most of it's revenue hosting artists than buttholes so it was an easier choice. I have no idea what OnlyFans is going to do. Tumblr 2.0 I guess.

OnlyFans was originally supposed to be a service for musicians and other performers to reach out to fans but it evolved into a porn outlet because the original idea was an idea that wouldn't work. It's been something that's been rumored for a while and I believe one of the reasons is the allegations that underage users are posting content because their system isn't perfect and they don't moderate content as much as they should.
