nothing in his fics would qualify for deletion on ao3. it was created because fanfiction.net would delete stuff fairly arbitrarily for being porn, even though five minutes on ff.net would tell you that is not a very consistent policy, and they'd do it to stuff that just had brief mentions or depictions of sex without really being about it. ive only seen stuff get deleted on ao3 if its very clearly not fanfiction (and even that is fairly loose since you can have an unhinged political rant go on for pages and itll be fine so long as you also mention that goku is in the room listening to your unhinged political rant) or if it contains real-world information about someone. so i have to imagine that he's deleting it himself.

Note, I am not a doctor, only going from what I remember from my nutrition and gastroenterology lectures from nursing school.

The people whose breath or sweat smell like ammonia are probably suffering from ketoacidosis, which is when your blood contains too many ketones (a waste product of breaking down fat), and they transfer into your breath. If you have ketoacidosis and don't have type 1 diabetes, you're not feeling well, because the body is eating itself to survive.

The person who leaked orange oil from their butt is probably eating too much fat for the body to handle. The gallbladder produces bile which breaks down fat into more manageable forms, but if you're eating too much fat it just goes through your GI tract and passes through the other end. Diarrhea is a very common result, but I can imagine that you can also get oil leakage if you eat extremely fatty foods at all times.

EDIT: I don't think keto is an inherently unhealthy diet, as long as you eat sensibly.

I agree, but this is also a good example of people looking for a miracle cure for what ails them (possibly as much mental as it is physical) and not realising any sort of fix requires sustained low level effort and them just metaphorically trying to bake a cake at twice the heat for half the time

The Keto diet was originally developed as a way to treat epilepsy because ketones can sometimes help with that for some reason. It's still occasionally prescribed for medication resistant epilepsy

That's the point though. There's a pretty good Sawbones episode about the keto diet, and they mentioned that it was originally only used for children because they're the only people who would stick to the diet because they can mostly only eat what they're given. It sucks so bad that almost nobody who does it voluntarily is doing it right.

I went back to the original episode and someone in the comments did a deep dive on the history of the Dream Fiction Wiki

That's one for the community that used one of those "automatically generate a cartoon video!" services to make webcomics. I think that's where CoolGamer23 had his start. His angle was "I want to tell everyone about my very good thing." So, he takes over the Dream Logos Wiki from Kaylor Blakley. For a while afterward, Blakley still tries to promote his wiki he formed for his stuff after being kicked off of the Dream Logos Wiki; because his new wiki is the "Dream Kaleidoscope Wiki" he got remembered for putting "kaleidoscope ads" on Dream Logos Wiki.

With Kaylor in the past, CoolGamer23 looked to expand his wiki cred. And there was a Fandom wiki called Fiction Foundry that he was a big fan of. Also, the Dream Logos Wiki community is kind of specifically focused on logos, while these people want to be able to post about their fictional worlds. So he extended the "brand" of Dream ____ Wiki to include the Dream Fiction Wiki, whose format was supposed to be the same as Fiction Foundry. "Write about your worldbuilding here." (Fiction Foundry later noticed the Dream Fiction Wiki and went "oh, look, a site like ours" and the act of being noticed got lovingly memorialized on several pages.) Everything is going along well now, aside from the occasional rascally vandal.

During this time, CoolGamer23 was also working on that game that Frank bought. When he published it, he went into the Dream Logos/Fiction wiki themes and added a bunch of advertisement for his game on Steam. This upset other users, who thought it wasn't fair that the admin was using the wiki to "advertise" his game. This culminated in a crisis on Discord, where the entire server was muted for two days so no one but the mod team could post. A number of accusations were flung around, but because every source on this is either from the pro-CoolGamer faction or the anti-CoolGamer faction, it's difficult to tell what's true. The anti-CoolGamerites claimed he had a big ego and was trying to make his wiki the "biggest" on Fandom. The pro-CoolGamerites insisted he was technically within his rights as described by the Fandom code of conduct.

Disgraced after this controversy, CoolGamer23 was put up for impeachment and lost control over the Dream Logos/Dream Fiction wikis. They even banned him, which they didn't even do to Kaylor Blakley when he was impeached. But because community sentiment was split, a lot of the pages on the wikis themselves are the version of events which both sides could agree on. They call the ads he put up "partially controversial". This sort of doublespeak is absent from other sources, such as the Wiki Wiki ("a wiki about wikis") where the page about the Dream Fiction Wiki mentions the specific accusation that he was trying to inflate his wiki's statistics, or from the Dream Fiction Wiki articles about Blakley that straight up talk poo poo about his stupid kaleidoscope wiki for assholes that no one liked.

So at present, the Dream Fiction Wiki admin position has passed onto the moderation team that took over from CoolGamer23, who seem to be less egotistical. They're still admins of a wiki, so obviously the position self-selects for narcissism, but the most recent drama is all about the Great Dream Purge, where a vandal deleted a bunch of people's pages. CoolGamer23 is still posting, but has gone back to other wikis that didn't rebel against him.

I went digging because I thought it'd be like, "this is the wiki where everyone banned from a Youtube Let's Play fan wiki got sent", I didn't realize it was going to be the tragic tale of the hubris of CoolGamer23.

It would probably be decent document material if I had the slightest idea what was going on.

I know that blew up huge with zoomers and like 20 new youtube superstars were born from it. I would not be surprised if there was a huge fandom around it.

yea it feels like there should be stuff that'd work for at least an Extra Credit Short or something but so much seems to be based in actual youtube/twitch videos and a weirdly deep web of context that I couldn't find an easy 'slice' of it to do when I too thought it'd be good doc material.

Because yea an overwrought fanfic comment war about how 'Tubbo' totally betrayed 'Technoblade' at the third war for Pogtopia and is A GODDAMN SOCIOPATH for it is really funny when you realize these are minecraft people talking about putting TNT in each other's houses.
