Yeah, they toned down the whole Lara getting hurt significantly in Rise, probably because she's more experienced now.

I hope the Super Mario movie gets done like so many other CG cartoons with celebrities in them, where the characters look like the actors voicing them. Make Mario look like Chris Pratt. I felt pretty bad that in Godzilla vs. Kong that Godzilla easily defeated Kong but it is accurate 😔 I guess somehow I had worked myself up to believe that Kong was fighting on the side of America and I have a core of nationalism I haven't been able to fully deactivate

Matrix Revolutions works a lot better when you realize that it's just the third act of Reloaded and watch the two movies like within a week of each other rather than 6 months apart.

For all of their flaws, I am on the whole pro-sequels. I think maybe Revolutions could not have had half its runtime spent on essentially a single action scene but what are ya gonna do
