gross sometimes i don't put on socks when i take the dog out in the morning. the idea wearing shoes but not socks on a summer afternoon is very nasty i bet your shoes get real gross real quick. unless you mostly wear sandals in which case not wearing socks is correct

hey fellow olds, what are some good warm wool socks? what are some good over the calf wool socks that will fit over honking calfs and don't get all loose and droopy? i've never been the type to get cold at home and my torso pretty much doesn't but my limbs do. i guess this is getting old and also apparently something adderall causes.

i'm also interested in this. i was eyeing smartwool socks but i haven't tried them so i can't say if they work well. i have cold and sweaty feet in the winter so it is a pain in the rear end to find nice winter socks i bought some dickies but they're too loose. they're good for sleep but i get cold toes and there's no compression band in the arch so they get loose after a few hours around the house

I have a bunch of smartwool and darn tough socks [sibling works for rei] and they are solid. I mostly do low and quarter but the crew height ones are decent too. darn tough, smarwool and wigwam are most.all made in usa if that matters and wigwam is union
