The thing that gets me about Infiltration is that even if you hypothetically don’t consider the domestic violence (which you really, really still should), the dude got caught smurfing his own newbie SFV tournament last year for easy money and is still a gigantic scumbag. That's not necessarily true. GG's always kind of experimented with alternative ways to portray itself in games and the first chance they had to change it up massively when making GG2 they went in pretty hard on it. Blazblue by comparison never really ever strayed from the sprite based look as that's part of what defined BB especially after Xrd came out. It's hard to really say for sure whether or not a new BB would be sprite based or not though, given the success of their 3D style and how easy it would be to transition BB to that sort of game.

Unless it does now in which case too late It's been a long time since I've played the game, but I was able to use a 360 controller's left stick for movement and map the face buttons to whatever. I kept the item hotkeys to 1-6 on the keyboard, but the motion inputs for the special moves worked just fine.
