It's genuinely hard to not find at least something to like about every character they've introduced. The Watchmen show or the Snyder movie? I thought the show was pretty good. I'm hoping HBO taps someone to do Planetary, that'd be sweet.

I listened to a few episodes of the behind the scenes podcast. It's kind of a lame summary of the episode then a quick interview with a cast member. The interviews are kinda lame, too. The chemistry those two actors had was truly wonderful and they were the best antagonists on the show. Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock was also really good as Gordon’s partner. Gotham’s take on the Joker and Bane was absolute dogshit, however.

Yeah the movie is a bit of a slog, but I also don't know how they could have adapted the comic any better (aside from changing the ending  ) into a single movie. Only other option would be to do a 12 episode show at 1:1 with the comic issues so they could include all the text extra material and that pirate story. Hell I'd still watch that.
