I finally upgraded from 4 on Windows and whatever I was on Mac. Wasn't happy about it for years then finally did it and it fills forms SO much better now. Holy poo poo.

yeah i'm aware. i keep asking myself if it's worth $36 a year to have it fill out forms better rather than me just copy/pasting on the few sites it screws up on. not really worth it to me

just as an fyi, you should be able to get the offer chris knight got (you might have to email in)

there's eventually going to be a point where the extension and 4 just won't talk to each other anymore due to certs changing and stuff

1pw 8 windows app is fantastic, much better than 1pw 7 on mac (and comically better than 1pw 7 on windows)

i wasn't excited for that switch, considering the mac app was perfectly fine, but it is night and day better regardless on windows

there must have been a bunch of cruft in the old windows codebase, because they seem to make frequent updates now and long-standing windows client quirks are disappearing quickly in their beta releases

it's a rewrite from 0 in rust, supposedly with a lot of actual component code written in rust directly, or via webass

ooooh, that makes a lot more sense. it's at least on par with the baseline 7 mac app, if not better, so that work paid off

i was a hold-out with a bunch of disparate full versions and the modernization of their windows client was well worth switching to a subscription

cinci zoo sniper
Mar 15, 2013

i took so much time switching to bitwarden due to atrocious windows client specifically that they caught me pants down with version 8, mid-switch
