Takayasu will forever be my favourite rikishi but I am also very superstitious that my fantasy team basically just outright dooms at least one of my picks to a horrific basho so I am going to release him from the horror show that is my fantasy draft.

Tough one to pick this time imo, lot of interesting storylines going on - can Wakatakakage follow up his yusho? Is Teru healthy? Is Takayasu going through a resurgence or was his second week a truer reflection of where he is now? Might need to fall back on a gimmick this time round but it's set up to be a really interesting tournament at both ends of the banzuke - Meisei and Ishiura trying to get back in form too. Pumped for it!

I had the advantage last time of not knowing anything and so picking off largely arbitrary criteria. Now I am burdened with more knowledge and have no idea who I want to pick! Except for Hoshoryu of course. Never not Hoshoryu.
