Geez... This gets blown out of proportion. I expected that maybe 1-2 users to answer my question, not sending the subforum into a crapstorm. In my opinion, cancelling an LP outright just because 1 or 2 enemies has unusually questionable design is such an overkill reaction. Since I'm stubborn, I hope I can get the update nicely by filtering it under heavy censorship and making those enemies not exist.

I was being too oblivious regarding the actual reason why it got blown out. I kept thinking of her as an enemy with unusually questionable design. As mentioned a month or two ago (or was it longer than that? I can't even remember), this subforum is more devoid of drama/self-immolation incidents than a lot of the others. You take your rubbernecking opportunities where you can, which is why there were so many responses. We're all secretly keeping a sharp eye out for the next wesflagr or Pokemon Girls Hunter dude so we can join the communal dogpile and feel like a big happy family. I'm going to be moving lpix/lparchive over to a new server tomorrow morning (12 hours from this post, ish). You shouldn't notice much disruption except that I will turn off lpix uploads right before I switch, so you won't be able to upload until the new server has propagated DNS. If anything is broken after the switch let me know, I'll keep an eye on it to see if I spot anything myself.

Drakengard 2 predates the LP, so probably not. TDI's writing style definitely influenced Drakengard 3 though.

Squenix launched a wave of channel strikes about 2 months ago ahead of deploying their own Youtube Soundtrack channel. Said channel has the OSTS 100% in Japanese and seemingly no inclination to localize them. I don't think anything has been saved officially, I know some people made personal backups. I've had luck with archive.org backing up some videos which was a great help when I go through a playlist and am plagued by the "hidden unavailable videos" taunt on the top that doesn't tell me what it was before it was nuked.

I'm trying to remember an old LP I wanted to watch again, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. It was a co-op video LP with some very old sprited graphics that you ran around like it was doom. Picked up carrots to have a moment of night vision, the weird emotes you could do at each other (Hurrah.  ) and a banshee miniboss with corrupted audio that made it sound like it was farting towards you.\\Edit: And not even 2 minutes later I find it. I'm leaving this here though to preserve my derp, and maybe share it with some other folks. It was Amulets and Armor. On the LP archive like usual, thanks Baldurk.

This is kind of a weird question but I've been thinking of making a new LP after several years gone and a name change, and the game that I would be interested in doing is Red Candle Games' excellent Detention. However, since it is an *incredibly* political game I'm concerned that the thread is going to just fill up with bad posters getting probated for bad posts. Is the SALP subforum, idk, "mature" enough to handle something like that? My intention is to present the topic as the game presents it, with some historical background on the White Terror on a high level to set the stage. But as I am not a historian I don't plan on getting into the weeds, so to speak. I think you should generally expect that most of the posters are going to be left-wing, so if the game, uh, glorifies anything right-wing, then it might start a shitfest(and justifiably so). On the other hand if it actually has a humane and intelligent take on things, then posters might join in to ask questions or expand on things the game/poster touches on, but not start throwing rocks.
