CF is cheaper than it's ever been, and forged CFRP from chopped pieces instead of woven is probably going to be cheaper long-term, but autoclaves are expensive and slow.

I'm #1 on the list for a GR Corolla at my local no-markup dealership. Crossing my fingers that one of the ones they get allocated matches my preferences.
