I wouldn't say Everything, Everywhere, All At Once is a major movie. It's absolutely an indie movie that just happened to blow up. Also dude didn't take a break so much as he was getting really lovely and stereotypical roles so he bounced. Between EEAAO being a huge hit and an actual effort to diversify the quality of roles given to minority actors, he decided to make a go of it in a return that seems to have bore some real good fruit.

I was not expecting Werewolf By Night to be a campy black and white Universal homage. Very very excited. Secret Invasion also looks cool. I’ve been skeptical about that one. Not sure how it works in the MCU and don’t recall it being very good in the comics. But that’s got a very cool and tense thriller vibe. I’m curious.

But this feels like a much more spy like lineup which makes a lot of sense. But then maybe players like Abomination or Moonstone as second act secret weapons as everything goes wrong? I’d guess since Guardian and Yelena are there it’s the same Taskmaster.

Enjoying all the teens on Twitter and Reddit currently huffing on that copium bc Marvel didn’t announce Denzel as Magneto and Henry Cavill as Doom and Deadpool 3 wasn’t fully leaked or whatever. They seem still to not understand that these things are mostly investor meetings with, like, a couple fun announcements and trailer releases.
