No discernable delivery information on the package--just some gibberish that I guess makes sense to the delivery system, so I couldn't tell who it was actually for. I opened it to see if I could learn anything and found 15 bags of orange flavored Life-Savers. Wait you can just order orange ones??

When I was a FedEx guy I got a package for a homicide scene. The cops had left but there was broken glass and blood and there were evidence markers. The news said they weren’t sure if the homeowner would be charged for killing the home invader so I didn’t leave the package, in case he was gone for life or something. There was blood all the way out in the street a couple houses down so I imagine he shot a fleeing suspect that wasn’t a threat. He didn’t get charged and I delivered it to him the next day.

I had to cancel a meal delivery service this week because they use FedEx, and for three weeks in a row, the delivery person left my box at the far end of the sidewalk. They even marked it as “left on porch” with a photo of it sitting in the middle of nowhere every time. This would probably be fine, except the PNW has been experiencing record hot temps lately, and since they didn’t bring it to the door and ring the bell, my food’s been sitting in the full heat of the sun for half a day or more every time. I was trying to simplify my life because poo poo is out of control, but nah, FedEx is here to gently caress it up regardless.

I don’t remember if it’s come up in this schad thread or the last one, but sometimes cakes have wooden sticks in them for architectural support. People have lost eyes… I’m not necessarily opposed to having my face jammed in a cake or someone’s else’s face being jammed in cake, but that’s something to look out for if you’re going to be doing that.

I'm in Canada so it could be the right city in the wrong country as well based on some of these Fedex anecdotes.
