You can get them to stop laying on the keyboard if you get them their own keyboard, for example. Dogs too. I had a labrador occasionally try to help me build a snowman, when I was a kid. It was as productive as you're imagining, but he wasn't trying to stomp it, and it was too adorable to interfere.

I had a cat which would constantly bat away my computer mouse when it wanted my attention. It never had a problem with anything else on my desk but it was aware that if I was holding that mouse in my hand then my attention would be somewhere else

the best license plate is null, but you have to be prepared for years of disputes with your state's DMV and you have to be diligent in where you actually live/exist/drive so your state and other states know its impossible for you to be driving on the other side of the country or multiple places at the same time. also these mirrored plates are great and also make me want to get one.
