Janet and Cole are very good and Ladyhawke is the kind of budget film that makes a great Rifftrax

The Apple is the sort of horrible failure that I without irony love. It is beautiful and pure in its jewish guys writing christian cult nonsense musical about the record industry.

Dreamscape, The Apple, and Ladyhawke are all incredibly watchable on their own. That's my favorite kind of riff, honestly. Just a fun dumb movie with fun dumb jokes on top of it.

Hack-O'-Lantern just dropped, couldn't buy that fast enough. It's, without a shred of irony, one of my seasonal favorites and I was debating watching it this season. Now I kinda have to.

These high-G injections have some serious side effects after pulling so many jumps.

Greg Sestero's doing a meet and greet in a nearby city and there'll be a double feature of The Room and his self-directed horror film. Tickets are 20 for just The Room and 23 for both. Really considering it.

A lot of low budget movies have this kind of community theater element where it’s like, “I know someone who’s in a band, we can have them play a song in our movie” and to Hell with pacing or a narrative you gotta give your pal this opportunity plus it’ll help fill time right?

Everything about that party screams "we knew some weird people so we just put them in the movie to pad the runtime", from the aforementioned Stand-up Guy, to the Guy Dancing in a Dress Alone In a Corner, to Snake Dancing Grandma, to Full Frontal Stripper...

Haven't been able to click but I suspect that's the thing they played before the live show?

But yeah Joel was a guest back in the early days when it was always "Mike + Guest". He did Red Dawn, if I recall correctly.

Can anybody recommend any riffs to spend this on? Looking for big time blockbuster films, not obscure stuff I've never heard of.

I've got all the Harry Potters and most of the 90s crap I grew up with like Anaconda and Godzilla '98. Any more recent suggestions? Was their riff on Jurassic World any good?

They've really been neglecting the Just the Jokes Riffs - there's only been four of them the past two years. With that being said, Solo: A Star Wars Story has a good Riff to it.

Did you ever wonder where the Romans got bread from? It wasn't from Waitrose!
I've spent 1/2 mine on the Twilight riff -- had Mr Boods in absolute stitches (he likes Robert Pattinson -- as an actor, not #TeamEdward, at least as far as I know, but hey, I don't judge), having seen him in several post-Twilight films).

I want to spend the other half on a blockbuster, especially now that we've got the app properly working. We've seen Cats and of course the Room (several times) -- I'm thinking of one of the Star Treks, maybe.

With our special guest star, RUSH! YAYYYYYYYYY

I watched a bunch of Rifftrax stuff on Youtube, and now the Ice Cream Bunny's ghastly visage apparently haunts my Youtube recommendations forever. He's always there in the sidebar, and he's there every time I finish a video. I can almost hear the demented laughter.

To be fair, this is a big improvement over the kind of stuff the algorithm usually thinks I might enjoy.
