The Tennant return really just feels like a cynical “look guys the old Doctor Who you like is back, please start watching again” grab. I mean I’m gonna watch every second, but still.

Inside man was quite jaring in that he attempted to mix his humor and style quite heavily into what would be a heavy serious crime drama and it did not work.
