vampire survivors was more fun when sessions were 10 minutes long than 30 I played it a bunch and started getting into the more esoteric unlocks and character clears and it got tedious and I dropped it

RE7 in VR was pretty great so RE8 and RE4 are probably also great rez is also amazing in VR and doubly amazing that it works so well when it was made a decade before consumer VR was practical thumper is basically audiosurf on PCP

I've watched a bunch more of the FAILRACE youtube channel over the past few days and it got me to reinstall BeamNG after several years - there's a lot more 'content' in there, its not just a car physics smash-up soft-body simulator any more, but it is still at its heart a very accurate way to very easily break your car with the slightest bump and end any chance of winning a race - I don't think I've driven a more demanding sim, it can be absolutely brutal.

haveblue posted:vampire survivors was more fun when sessions were 10 minutes long than 30 this was my hot take as well. i’ll definitely play a game for more than 30min at a time. maybe it’s just that it comes in chunks of 30min that’s the problem? like with slay the spire i could just pause at any time or after i defeated an act. just doesn’t seem to work as well in vampires survivors, so another game is a whole 3 minutes and not however much time i have/want to dedicate.
