turns out win+c is the shortcut to open windows copilot. the only way to disable copilot without loving with the registry is via gpo, and copilot ignores the gpo setting.

I'm on vacation and needed to just briefly use our corp remote desktop from my personal laptop. Normally you'd just use the password and get the MFA code but now with some Azure poo poo MS wants to take over my laptop just to launch Citrix. What the fuuuuck

"pro" isn't a professional product anymore, you need to get pro then subscribe to an e5 sub for workstation. which still has all the cloud experience bullshit, but you're at least allowed to turn it off.
