Worst I ever saw was a hack-an-area round. We all got to the hack area and I embarrassingly get instabansheed 20 seconds in. The rest of the team fights off hoards of reapers while zipping in and out of area but the hack meter is going up slowly but surely. Eventually two others die and the only one left is a Geth Jugg who circles juuuust outside the hack area for some reason. He did that for the last thirty seconds while the meter had like a pixel to go. Time's up, you lose by a pixel! Only time I legitimately wanted to slap another player.

Does the hack meter go up more slowly (per player) in 4 player games? In solos it's no problem to leave the circle to lure the enemies away a few times even though you're doing it alone.

Yes. When you're soloing it basically acts like you've got 4/4 doing it. Same for escorts. It probably does the same kind of thing for 2 or 3 person teams, just working based on the fraction. Why they decided that those should go half speed when you've got 3 out of 4 I don't know. Or maybe that's just observational bias.

I got a Geth Juggernaut.![]() Is this thing real? I had just promoted the Soldier class, so it was only like level 8. I still topscored easily on a 3 player Gold match while high out of my mind. I can't even imagine how good this thing is properly specced out. Too bad my PC died shortly thereafter ![]()

Use a weapon that imparts ammo power well. Use siege pulse all the goddamn time. Watch things boom. 2) Spec siege pulse for survivability. Use an incinerating reegar. Make things go boom less frequently, specifically when enemies start to cluster. Laugh like a madman. 3) The wrong way.

Your gonna get swarmed alot so go for a gun that's good for crowd control. The Reegar is the obvious choice but if you dont have it or its too low level I'd recommend the Piranha or AT-12 Raider. If you don't have those either ( ![]() It also doesn't hurt to have a gun like the Acolyte or a pistol with range that's lightweight and can do some damage from afar. I wouldn't say it's useless (sticking a shield recharger in places for a low cooldown is handy), it's just that your other abilities are much more important. Even the class skill you probably want to take to 6 for weapon damage, since he's a weapons platform. Personally I run a weird 6/6/3/5/6 build, where the shield is at 3, but that's just for keeping silver pubs from eating themselves. If I was going to take it to Gold I'd respec it completely.

Turret flamethrower will also help with techsplosions so it's not completely useless on higher levels. I spec my jug the "wrong" way (purely a tank) but I only use him for plat farming so it works out.

Yeah, the only thing that can kill me as a juggernaut besides something like everything on the map shooting it at once is a bunch of scions since the hex shield blocks nothing they do or a praetorian that stunlocks me. I always switch to it after a while of getting squished on my weaker dudes then using a medigel and instantly dying because a banshee was behind me but just offscreen from where the camera was looking and just put its fist through me. I've said it before, but I think the Crusader is one of the best weapons for the Juggernaut. I like to have mine be tanked up and drop drill rounds on top of a Crusader with both piercing mods. Add geth scanner, remove heads to taste. ![]() Javelin also works for this, but it's a lot more challenging to perform.

I always have a pause/stagger when using Melee with my Juggernaut, is there some way around that, because bosses seem to sit there wailing on me without being staggered until my Melee pauses, usually when they have just one or two bars of armor left, and tend to knock down my shields and health rapidly in the time it takes me to re-melee them. Also, had an interesting Plat run today. One guy had a Harrier, but it seemed to shoot missiles constantly and he never ran out. Like he ended up with six different groups of missile kills per wave, for all 11 waves. (And then an Abomination exploded in the LZ at :01 ![]()

Yeah, the heavy melee only lasts so long, which conveniently ends up usually right where you mentioned it (two bars of armor left). I tend to use that time to shoot; it works really well with the Reegar because you'll shoot all the ammo, start to reload, and when you trigger the next heavy melee it should work like a reload cancel and you'll be reloaded for the next one. quote:Also, had an interesting Plat run today. So I'm maxed out on rare stuff and really need cyclonic modulators III/IV, SMG rail amps III/IV. What's the best pack to buy? I would assume premium spectres. Is that right? I don't really care for ultra rare's since I have all the weapons I want at reasonable level already.

You might still get character cards for the generic human characters that serve as a big chunk of xp if you don't buy arsenal packs iirc.

Alright, it's really weird that they'd put THAT in one of the most expensive packs. I just bought arsenal packs for 3 million credits. 5 ultra-rares in there which I don't really want or need. Whole lotta cyclonic modulators, too. So, yay, I guess.

Yeah people are still playing. I tried to find a random pub game yesterday, didn't get connected within 3 minutes so I started my own and clicked "Go!". Halfway through wave 1 I had three new teammates. And pretty good ones too. Also, despite playing thousands of games at this point, I have never played a Juggernaut or most of the Krogans. Am I weird?
