Get a prescription for omzeprazole or whatever it is from the doctor and never get heartburn again.

Hello friends I am on day 6 of no booze and let me tell you I miss drinking. Not sure when I'm going to cave but trying to hold off as long as I can

im getting free government money again and its making it really hard for me to care about going to work. 80% of my wage is pretty great when there's nothing to spend anything on.

I'm sorta saving up for the stupid lands end to John o groats bike ride next year. Its like 1,700km so will take me at least 15 days. I've estimated I'll probably need £1k for train tickets, food and accommodation.

Maybe by then I'll be fit enough to do 200km days regularly to cut some days out but I doubt it

Lands end is rubbish, better just stop in at Ives or somewhere earlier and save a bit of money and time.

It's my birthday week and I booked a few days off so I could go somewhere. That was before lockdown, so whoopsy, but at least I'll be able to play games and relax instead

My housemate broke the router today so the internet will be down until next week, probably

Yeaahh but the point is to go from the furthest point within reason if that makes sense. Otherwise I'd just start from Southampton.

She got a statue too!!

How is everyone feeling about Biden/Johnson non-relations? Part of me is lolling at how it's probably tanked all those nasty trade deals but the other part is a little worried about what it will mean for us.

Still, I am feeling good today. Along with the news of a possible vaccine, it's nice to have some news that is a relief.

I just realised that Trump was president for all of my child's life and now he is not. It really feels like part of the cloak of dread that has been smothering the world has been ripped away. Now if only we could gently caress Brexit off.

Can I have a sanity check?
The PYF Charts/graphs thread is currently claiming that in england, full english breakfasts usually come without hash browns. That's madness right? I don't think I've ever had one without either hash browns or mini hash browns.

Hash browns on a full English feels very Mandela effect-y. Swear I never remember having them in my childhood/teens, but everywhere does them now.
