I play on Normal because I started with EoSD, and things like EoSD Easy Mode will train you to never trust easy modes again. I have never 1CC'd a single game. Well, except for the fighters. I'm a fair bit better at twitch reflexes than micrododging.

Not much thought went in to them, and in some cases they're debatably easier than the parent game (PCB for instance). No, the real smug person challenge is 90FPS.

Cernunnos posted:You can type it into Google Translate and have it read it out to you to get a general idea. Nobody really speaks Finnish the same way it's written, which causes a lot of problems for translating software. Google translate seems to know some colloquial Finnish, but regional variants are a bit too much for it. Whoever is translating those comics is doing a rather good job at getting the tone and meaning across, though.

It's already April Fool's Day in Japan so expect to see a lot of fake game announcements and stuff. The first one I saw is a remake of Phantasmagoria of Dim Dream. edit: also that new "Zwatch" player is an April Fool's joke too...I hope. You can search touhou pv on YouTube and come up with a few of them. The ones you've mentioned are good ones, but there's others too, (kinda) like this one for Tewi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7QbgfeEzdY And then there's Oath of Soul, though it's more pretty and not so much a narrative. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOpe9ETZMKg

BlitzBlast posted:EDIT: I hope this was some kind of silly April Fools joke or something, because otherwise you just seriously tried to cram the entirety of a spectrum of Touhou fanworks under one label. In fairness the songs that wind up in the "Related Videos" tab in Youtube do tend to fit the mold, it takes some luck or digging to find other kinds in my experience, and somewhat depends on the character as well. Aya Shameimaru's theme vocals I've found so far have always been fast and upbeat, Flandre's likes to switch between creepy and murderous, Kogosa from Western to Jazz seems to have an undercurrent of something whimsically melancholic about it. There's always exceptions and they're great, but the search algorithm does seem to have a bias unless your specific. e: Picking Cirno's Math class as a non-emo example is cheating. ![]() Though I love some me some Tomboyish Girl in Love arranges that are slow and lovely. ![]() e2: Although the first link was actually Kaguya's theme under closer inspections. ![]() Raenir Salazar fucked around with this message at 06:15 on Apr 2, 2013 |
