The other three also would be too much effort for the writers. NCR blew up so it just can’t do them. Legion ending destroys the whole area which defeats the purpose of using the “Hey remember that setting you liked?” setting. Yes Man has too much variability in the outcomes and they would be forced to make the Courier an actual set in stone character. Mr House on the other hand let’s them just copy paste everything as-is from the games.

Harry being hunted by the magical feds throughout the backend of the series, seeing the government subverted and complicit in whatever the unspecified crimes of the bad guys were, and then joining the feds is very funny too.

To Obsidians credit, I love how they put a lot of work into the the Yes Man ending being affected by all the side quests more than the others. So in case you think you have better political opinions than the three factions you can respond to the question of “If you’re so smart why don’t you do it?!” with “Alright I will!”. Depending on how you do all the side quests the Mojave can range from pure anarchy to a socialist proper nation-state. So of course the show won’t do that and instead just go “Hey member’ Mr House? Hey member’ the Kings? Hey member’ Big Iron?”

That's what I liked about the Rockford Files. The cops were 100% portrayed as stupid power tripping meatheads that were always getting in the way of Jim's investigations. Even Jim's one cop friend was completely untrustworthy.
