Doesn’t really matter who’s in charge does it. All the same aren’t they.

Put it this way, the ones Boomers will let us have in power are, yes.

While a grain platform can be used for corn, a specialized corn head is ordinarily used instead.

I fear this gasmask fella/fellarette is taking our exhausted disparagement as genuine apathy

I'm sure Sir Kier, if elected in 3 years, will make meaningful changes to aid the most vulnerable in this country. Like the landlords living on the edge, suffering billionaires or the party right.

Voting not Tory encourages politics to shift away from the Tory end of the spectrum. Even if Labour are only marginally less poo poo as a choice.

Ideally we wouldn't have hosed up the referendum in sorting out FPTP so this should be less painful

If the menu choice is between something inedible, poisonous even and something not to one's tastes, does one simply go hungry?

This is a bad analogy as you get fed something regardless

If you keep eating the less bad thing the restaurant continues to take your money, and continues to serve poison to people

Better to convince people to go somewhere which doesn't feed people poison

This is impossible, because everyone on your table thinks this is the only place to eat

Generally I agree but Boris is so much worse in terms of naked corruption and subversion of western democracy than even regular tories

If he doesn't get the boot, it will send a message that all of this is acceptable and we'll be living in a Russia/Malta-esque mafia state within a few decades.

I don’t get the restaurant analogy but get the tories out.

You can put magical socialist grandpa in an exo suit and have him run for leader again or whatever but get the tories out.

Labour aren’t the tories just because your jam man got the boot for the worst election ever. The tories are the tories. Get the tories out.

kier starmer is bad and labour are going in a very worrying direction, but i would still probably vote for them

i do not agree with the ukmt stance any more that voting for the labour right encourages them because that logic skips the overview that not voting keeps the tories in power

like yes most of the shadow front bench are a selection box of well meaning melts but you have to contextualise that in terms of priti patel being actual home secretary

anyway even though jose is no longer a mod he still knows their curious ways and has warned us many times not to discuss politics all up in here
