That's $355 per pair of pants. Lululemon isn't that expensive. This has to be some sort of drug reporting price markup business.

Well if you're raiding a Lululemon I don't know what else you could steal. But apparently they are specifically targeting those stores to steal yoga pants? Is this some really specific form of fashion crime?jobson groeth posted:That's $355 per pair of pants. Lululemon isn't that expensive. I’m guessing that Lululemon had built a big enough name to make their products desirable, but they’ve built that name with people who can’t afford Lululemon apparel.

Got utterly demolished by people noting the actual provenance of Jazz. What really sells it is the banner on top. World War II apparently isn’t part of U.S. history.

Even if you know almost nothing about jazz I would not expect you to hold the stereotype that it's for rich white people, that makes no sense

Proteus Jones posted:But it doesn't imply that at all. The quotation doesn’t say “in US history”. That was added after the fact as a qualifier, which makes it accurate but also makes the quotation itself stand out without the qualifier. There are plenty of ways to describe this terrible event. Going with “the deadliest attack on the Jewish community” even when qualifying it is probably a bad idea when one of the deadliest atrocities ever visited upon an ethnic community was in living memory on the same community.

I love that the metal worker who copped to putting the nail was hoping that it would “lure” the hammer. Like the thieves would go “That’s a big... nail... waaaaait a minute! We have a big hammer, let’s go nail that fucker in the rest of the way!”

But they have gone too far and tipped their hand. I am now on to them. All my efforts will be bent toward finding a way out for all of us. I may be out of communication during my times in my garden-shed wrapped in copper mesh. Do not be concerned, I will send coded updates from time to time. Please keep this information to yourself. We have no way of knowing who is real and who is a simulat placed to monitor to us. Stay strong. I will find a way.

New Hampshire's state leg is weird as hell. It's hardly in session, they pay a pittance, and there are a ton of reps and senators. This means that lots of weirdos get elected because there's so little incentive to run for people without an axe to grind. Sovcit Dick Marple is an endless delight in the NH House.
