I might have been a little soft on Survivor 1, but Survivor 2 is a legitimately worse game in literally every single aspect I can think of.

Is survivor 2 the code veronica one with nemesis thrown in or is it the dead aim one? I get confused with these gun spin off titles. I know the cv survivor isnt canon and just weird broken arcade thing Also can i play dead aim without a light gun like the first survivor since its apparently canon.

I always felt very odd towards Survivor. I like it, but I can't honestly say that it's a good game. Usually In a movie i would enjoy an outright failure as long as the creator really went down swinging, but this time it just didn't click for me, though i know when it came out i would eat up anything resident evil, and I know I played it multiple times. Did it even have puzzles? Should I revisit it?

Popped in RE CVX and man rose colored glass nostalgia is a hell of a thing. I had much fonder memories of this game then I remember. Steves voice acting alone became a chore for the 1st part of the game... Then I put the knife in my hand again and I remembered a big reason why I liked the combat... nothing like wiping out zombies and having a huge glut of ammo going forward.

uh so somebody made a Resident Evil 3.5 recreation and released the demo. looks ridiculously accurate. I played through RE4 on Steam last month, the ammo was fairly plentiful, enough that I didn't have problems anyway. I had heard about the balance change being you get less ammo and more money, which for me seemed like it turned out pretty well. Loved it on the Cube, love the HD version on Steam as well. Just for the record.

Hahah holy poo poo, a gameplay mechanic got revealed at the germany press event thing and you might want to not read it and just see it for yourself when you play the game, but if you cant wait a week then here goes: your arms and legs can get dismembered and you can pick them up as an item and also reattach them with that liquid herb poo poo. I already love this loving game. Theres a youtube video that for some reason my phone weirding out on for pasting but it happens at the 10 min mark. There was another one that got taken down too. Resident Evil, baby!

The VR thing completely disinterests me, but weirdness like that and the shopkeeper vibe and stuff at least makes me confident that it won't be the unambitious Amnesia clone I feared it would be upon announcement.

The reviewers who played the 4 hours thing are saying different people were getting different things happen in different locations and for some the spoiler didnt even happen.
