The intakes and the bars made it feel really wide when I sat on it (relatively, more than I'd expect for a 3cyl but it's no busa), and it pushed me up on the tank and was kinda uncomfortable seating. I'd like to see a measurement or side by side of the bars with another bike to see if they really are wide or if it was just my imagination. I think they look pretty good and could be fun with a bit of aesthetic/comfort modding like Pinny says.

I'm really excited to see a new standard <1kcc for $<10k. The fact that it has air scoops is just gravy. I hope it sells like a motherfucker and some sort of power cruiser is born from it. All I've wanted since the I started riding is a modern magna or v-max that isn't a complete behemoth.

I'd love to see a new Magna as well. I was really hoping the new V4's would spawn a Fury that would actually deserve the name. I love my Hammer, but I loved being much more nimble on the Magna. Plus, Harley riders would pull up to me on my Magna and make fun of it for having "fake pipes", since cruisers can only have two pipes! Too bad those "fake pipes" allowed it to go like a bat out of hell when the light turned green after they made fun of it. An old comparison pic of the size difference between the Hammer and Magna: and that oil spot is not from the Magna.

I've had a go on a friends '87 Super Magna (imported from the US, 1 of only 4 in the UK apparently) and it goes like stink, seriously. It'll rip your arms off up to 90.

My wife's old V30 was a lot of fun to ride. Less fun to own and maintain though, and way less fun to track down parts for.

I picture the magna like a Honda version of (in other words much more practical and with sensible shoes on) the V-max. Is that accurate? Those brakes look...questionable.

Really weirds people out when I stand up at freeway speed for like 2 minutes at a time. That's a strength of a dualsporty layout for me. I spend a lot of time on my Ulysses trips standing on the pegs and airing out my undercarriage parts.

Saw this guy a block away from my house yesterday, after seeing him on Friday at a restaurant in another town. Had a "PA to Panama" sticker on the one hard case, and all the paint on the license plate was worn off. Very cool.
