over-fucking-whelmed...
Young Orc
Directed by: Charly Cantor
Starring: Nobody famous

IMDB Plot Outline:

20 years ago, Carl was responsible for genetically engineering a girl with narcotic blood. Now he's brought her home - and the boundaries between love and addiction are becoming increasingly blurred.

I originally saw a preview for this movie when I rented an odd japanese horror film called St John's Wort. The preview was horrific and we were truly disturbed by it. So, I finally got around to renting the movie, prepared for a long night of terror.

Oops.

The movie isn't scary, nor particularly thrilling, nor anything other than odd, somewhat unsettling, and unintentionally funny in parts. The storyline is a bit interesting, but the execution is sorry. Nothing remotely horrific happens, even though the preview and box art make it look like a fright-fest. There is alot of bloody sex, which is faintly disturbing, but other than that, the movie remains ineffective at producing any effects that a good horror movie should produce.

This movie was a BIG disappointment and I can only recommend it if you and your friends want to MST3K it for fun. Otherwise, stay away.

RATING: 1.5

PROS: Box cover is cool
CONS: Everything else
