Directed by: Ji-woon Kim Starring: Lee Byeong-Heon You can dress the plot up as much as you like - it's a revenge movie. A gang boss's henchman screws up a simple task, given a death sentence, escapes, cue killing spree, you get the idea. There is nothing new or revolutionary about this movie, just a very slick, very polished movie with fantastic fight scenes and near-horrific realism. There is a brief love interest and just when you think it's going to take over the movie, it tails off and we're all saved from the samey tripe we've come to expect. The movie is pretty long for such a simple story but fear not, the time goes pretty quickly. This is mainly due to the first hour being some lame romantic drama, which then gives way to a non-stop kabal of beatings and violent deaths, hooray! Anyway defintely worth the watch if you can stay awake for the first part, highly reccommeded. This movie is pretty impossible to dislike. It's just so wonderfully shot and captures interest so well. The small portion of love isn't some poo poo thrown in there to make it less action-ey, it really deserves a spot in the movie. Action, love, a little dark comedy.. this movie's great. It's nothing new by any standards, it just does everything right. 5.5
