Eh, you're right. I seem to remember reading they were heavier a while ago. Google tells me that the 76 911S / 912E both weighed 2558lb... then of course the options could offset it.

Its popular with 80 series Landcruisers (91-97) as well since when the fender flares inevitably get ripped off it leaves holes down the side of the truck that go through to inner layers. Usually you pull the flares off, mask where they used to be, and fill it in with bed liner.

'91 318i 5spd 180k miles or so, engine supposedly has lower mileage, Rebuilt title from what I was told was a theft recover in like 96(all vin tags match on the panels, all glass has BMW logo minus drivers side rear, unable to find any signs of body damage besides the front right corner that happened when I owned it). Nice non-sports interior, tires have maybe 1000 miles on them, clutch has prolly less than 10k, heater blower motor replaced when clutch was.

Basically its just been sitting in the driveway since I got the JSW since I have no interest in driving it anymore. Figured I should prolly sell it since if I bring a mr2 home with it still there my gf will not be happy with me.

What are you asking for / trying to get out of it? There is a similar car here in Az but I'm willing to fly and roadtrip it back because I live for that stuff.

This seems like a pretty good deal. Though the part I circled, needing a heater core would suck. The only issue I see that is on the corner near the rear tire looks slightly flaky like rust. Salvage title on something this old doesnt bother me as long as it drives strait.

I paid $800 more than that for a 91 318is with perfect paint, an uncracked dash, clean title, and just in need of a suspension refresh. YMMV.
