Just started season 2 of Six Feet Under and we are enjoying it quite a bit. Before that we plowed through Arrested Development which is now one of my all time favorite shows.

About to finish the last season of Sherlock and then we are either going to start Fringe or Boardwalk Empire.

Generation Kill is fantastic and follows a close second to Band of Brothers for sure. The Pacific not so much. It was entertaining but I just didn't find it to be as rewarding and coherent as BoB was.

Also everyone should watch The Wire, especially now that it is out in HD.

Going to finish season 3 of OitNB tonight then because of all the glorious praise and women's prison drama I'm off to join in the goon ranks of Spartacus after that.

TWD is terrible and I have no idea why I still watch it. Will probably stop after this season.

I gave up after the whole Glenn dumpster fiasco. Suspension of belief is one thing, but outright stupidity of the writers, backtracking character development, and the constant misery porn just became too monotonous.

Just starting season 4 of Justified.

Justified is awesome. Watch Deadwood next if you haven't seen it.

Deadwood is one of my favorite shows of all time. Back when it was airing I was the original OP for all the season threads.

Olyphant was one of my draws to Justified, but I have noticed a lot of Deadwood alumni showing up through the seasons, so that is a bonus. He was a much angrier character in Deadwood for sure.

Justified was pretty great (even if it didn't ever reach season two heights again) and had one of my favorite last lines in a series finale ever.

I'm about halfway through season 4 of Justified now. I really enjoyed season two a lot. Three was decent but the finale was great. So far four has been okay, but I can see why a lot have said it was the weakest season.

My bad I'm in the 5th season now that I go back and look.

Finished Justified last night. That last season was a blast. Great show and well worth the investment.

Just watched Chernobyl in a 24 hour period and hoooo poo poo that is some good TV.

Yeah it is seriously one of the best miniseries shows ever done. I'd put it up there with Band of Brothers.

Just finished Boardwalk Empire a couple of nights ago which was fantastic from start to finish.

For something new and different we started Halt and Catch Fire last night.

The wife and I finished Halt and Catch Fire. Holy poo poo I'm glad we took that plunge. That was seriously one of the best shows from front to back with some amazing character growth and one of the best endings. The Wire is still one of my all time favorite shows but I will be putting HCF right up there along with it.

After a night off for the NHL season starting we started Cobra Kai S3 and plowed through half the season. I enjoy it for what it is but man is the cheese getting a bit thinker as it goes along.

EDIT: How is The Leftovers? I've had a couple friends recommend it and we want something new to start after Cobra Kai.

Also, is Christina Hendricks actually good in other things or do people just like her because she has big boobs? I feel like it's the latter from watching this.

She is fantastic in Mad Men.

I've watched a lot of shows the past couple of years many of them based on recommendations in this thread. HACF is still one of the best out of everything I watched and even after a few months I still think about it all the time.

The most recent episode of Station Eleven is one of the best episodes of a show to come along in a long time. The finale is next Thursday, but if you haven't started yet wait until you can binge the entire show. They way the story plays and calls back to previous episodes it just doesn't fit a weekly release format as well. Plots and character lines are starting to connect in a Venn diagram that is starting to look like the Olympic circles

Me personally no, but one of the complaints I've read were people not picking up details or threads from the early episodes because they hadn't seen them in a few weeks. Take that along with watching other shows in-between the releases I can see things getting muddled for some.

The most recent episode really ties back all the way to episode 2 with some of the threads that were there in passing, but if you had watched that a month ago those connections are not as apparent.

I enjoyed the book a lot, but this is one of those cases where the show is on a whole other level.
