The Latécoère 632 is right up there for 'best-looking aeroplane of all time'. I love how long and low-slung it looks despite its size. A DHC-2 floatplane crashed here last night. https://www.seattlepi.com/local/komo/article/Two-people-rescued-by-nearby-kayakers-after-15382008.php#photo-19626505 I noticed in the pic the floats also have wheels. Are they retractable? Did they flip because they forgot to raise the gear? Just making pointless speculation.
