Hey, are you listening to a word I'm saying?
Cripes, does anybody with a nook still follow the Free Friday blog posts B&N do? I think it's been over a year since they've offered anything worth downloading. Is there an RSS feed anywhere that sends notifications when there's a free book deal that isn't poo poo?

Hey folks, I've got a quick question. I've still got and sporadically use a first gen Nook. Have these things taken off and advanced enough to merit buying a newer reader? I haven't heard much about or paid much attention to them since my in laws used to buy me enough paperbacks every Christmas to last me the entire following year, so I'm trying to figure out if they ever came to be much more than a handy novelty for a heavy reader.
