Any thoughts on the new Atmosphere album or Heavy Metal Kings (haven't listened to the whole album yet because I'm bumping "Children of God" on repeat)? I'm sorta enjoying The Family Sign, haven't totally absorbed it yet but I don't think I enjoy it as much as When Life Gives You Lemons or the recent EPs. Also wondering if anyone liked Kill Devil Hills. I didn't really give it much of a chance, none of the songs seemed as good as Ill Bill's other albums. The Family Sign is probably one of Atmosphere's better albums to me. It sounds like a halfway point between When Life Gives You Lemons and the earlier You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having to me and it strikes the balance well.

I can't find a dedicated Nerdcore Megathread, so I will put this here: I know all the "big names" of the genre (I know some of these aren't really Nerdcore, but close enough) like MC Frontalot, mc chris, MC Lars, Schaffer The Darklord (Anyone with a song about Craigslist counts as Nerdcore). What am I missing out on that is great?

Saw Freddie Gibbs again at Bloomington, buddy did the video again... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ku3iyyDIKc He puts out a hell of a live show; there was a poo poo ton of energy from him and his possee even if the crowd was kinda confused (I think they came for Smoke DZA?). None of them knew his music, but it was still a sick concert. I also saw Wiz Khalifa live last night, I don't think he did a single song with a ski beatz beat

I'm assuming once he's 18 there's no way for them to make him stay there, since it's a school that his parents sent him to (at least that's what it looks like judging by the website). The criteria for admission to that place include things such as ADD, depression, academic under-performance, and difficulty making friends. Considering that, I really doubt it's a bad place. I guess i could be wrong though, and the website is a lie, and it's actually run by people who love terrorizing kids and destroying them mentally.
