That one reminds me of those ads for tax lawyers that just make me (irrationally maybe?) angry:
"Do you owe the IRS $100,000? We can get that down to $10,000!

Ironically I can't find a youtube video of it, but the youtube ad for Zoosk that starts "Liz, meet Brad" I swear is the only commercial on youtube right now. Someone did take it and try to make it "funny" I guess, though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPhRK-5hRI0

Also they're donating a whole bunch of money to FFA based on the views of the commercial on Youtube, and since I work at an FFA school, that's pretty cool by me.

The phone lips one, it makes me happy and sad because the guy they're all rapping at is Fitz from the Lizzie Bennett Diaries, it's awesome to see him with legit work, but the commercial is just so annoying!

Annoying as hell local commercial. The concept is actually kind of funny (at least once) but the grating lady at the beginning saying "We're lost. We're lost. We're lost." What are you, a 5 year old? And I swear this comes up on every station. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6Z4teA9f1s

Just saw an obnoxious car commercial (shocking!)

Cadillac XTS: teen/young guy is listening to music on earphones, gets into a car with an older man, and the music starts playing in the car. Young guy says "Did you get a new car?" the key point being he didn't notice until the music starts playing in the car.

1. If you don't recognize the car, why would you ask that question?
2. Does this family buy new Cadillacs so often that he can't tell when they're new?

I don't get the "Bing challenge" commercials. The Bing results always have photos and the google results don't. When I Google poo poo, there's always pictures in the results.

And I love how they always pick Bing based on how the results look and not, you know, how relevant or accurate they are.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're intentionally using an old version of explorer or something to make it look like that. My work is stuck on internet explorer from several versions ago (never mind the security risk /eyeroll) and google looks like crap. I got them to give me Chrome, though, for a certain site I have to use, and google is just so nice there.

But speaking of bringing things on myself, sometimes I get distracted while watching Project Runway (because I'm almost always doing something else at the same time, PR needs like 10% of my attention), and forget to FF through the commercials. And then I'm subjected to things like this rap for the Lifetime show Double Divas:

there are more Subways than McDonald's in this country.

A friend and I were discussing this the other day. Remember when Subway was kind of a new thing? And then all of a sudden they were everywhere? I remember taking a trip down I5 with my dad in the mid-90s where I kept pointing out all the exits that had a subway, because we'd just eaten at one as a novelty in Tacoma.

I looked it up and the first one on the West Coast was in 1968, but I just remember the spread of Subway being a thing growing up. And now I live in a town of 35,000 with 4 Subways. And only 1 Starbucks.

This commercial bugs me. Even if you think that their kids are supposed to be high school students instead of college or older like they look, what teenagers don't lock the door, set the alarm, and for god's sake, leave water running? And then the mom tells them to clean up for dinner... again, it's like the kids are supposed to be three or something. I get that teens might leave lights on, but water running, realllllly?
